GURKHA SECURITY UNIT (GSU) OFFICERS’ MESS MEMBERS OUTING ON A DAY TRIP
GSU Officers’ Mess Members Outing on a Day Trip, Wednesday, 25 June 2025, All the GSU Officers’ mess members together with their loved ones conducted enjoyable and memorable day trip at the Royal Brunei Yacht Club (RBYC), Muara and participated on various fun games, including a sea canoeing competition in which the Commandant’s team emerged victorious.
K-9 UNIT’S PRESENTATION TO THE ROYAL GUARDS POLICE FORCE OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI POLICE FORCES RECRUIT INTAKE 01/2025
The Royal Guards Police Force Learning Centre, Beribi, On Monday 30 June 2025. The K-9 Unit, from Gurkha Security Unit, delivered a presentation and demonstrations to the Royal Guards Police Force of new recruits Intake 01/2025. Presentation covered, the function, capabilities and primary roles of the K-9 Unit including a short demonstration comprises of Arms and Explosive Searches and dog’s biting skills. A total of 22 recruits and instructors were attended on the presentation and demonstration.

WORLD CANCER DAY AWARENESS RUN 2025
Bandar Seri Begawan, on Sunday, 22 June 2025. A total of 14 Officers and Other Ranks including families from the Gurkha Security Unit participated in the KIE SHOE Brunei Run 2025. GSU No. 5497 SG Uday Pulami Magar managed to secure 1st, 0391 SG Md Iman Ghazali Bin Abdullah 2nd and 0326 SG Ruziman bin Katong 3rd place respectively in 5 km veteran category. GSU No 0402 SSgt Siti Shermah finished on 10th place on women 10 km veteran category. Jai GSU!
INTER UNIT SEPAK TAKRAW COMPETTITION 2025/26
Sungai Akar Camp, on Thursday 19 June 2025. The Inter Unit Sepak Takraw competition was held in Kadir hall, Sungai Akar camp. Total of 4 teams were competed in the competition. Guard Unit team B became the winner defeating Guard Unit team A in the final. The K-9 and Support Units secured 3rd and 4th position respectively.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS PENDIDIKAN AKHLAK
SUNGAI AKAR, Jumaat, 20 Jun 2025 – Kursus Pendidikan Akhlak telah diadakan bermula 16 Jun 2025 hingga 19 Jun 2025 bertempat di Surau Perkhemahan Sungai Akar. Seramai 09 anggota PSG telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang dikendalikan oleh Yang Mulia Ustaz Muhammad Abdussalam bin Haji Jahari. Tujuan kursus ini adalah untuk membentuk dan membimbing peserta agar memiliki sifat-sifat baik, perilaku terpuji serta menjadi kebiasaan yang tercermin dalam tindakan sehari-hari sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam demi mengharapkan keredhaan Allah Subahanahu Wata’ala.
