COMMANDANT GURKHA SECURITY UNIT VISITS TO GUARD DUTY LOCATIONS
Sungai Akar Camp, Friday, 13 June 2025 – The Commandant, Lt Col (U) Haji Habil bin Haji Adol, PJK, psc (j) conducted a visit to three (3) different guard duty locations under the Gurkha Security Unit Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Commandant was accompanied by the Deputy Commandant, Major Shree Prasad Bura, Commanding Officer Guard Unit, Major Krishna Bahadur Gurung, Operations Officer, Major Subar Rai, and respective AOR’s Officers Commanding (OCs) and Second-in-Commands (2ICs).
MAJLIS TAHLIL DAN DOA SELAMAT SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1446H/2025M, PASUKAN SEKURITI GURKHA
Sungai Akar, Selasa 10 Jun 2025 – Pasukan Sekuriti Gurkha telah mengadakan Majlis Tahlil dan Doa Selamat sempena Sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha 1446 Hijrah/2025 Masihi, bertempat di Surau Perkhemahan Sungai Akar. Yang Mulia Komandan PSG Lt Kol (U) Haji Habil bin Haji Adol turut hadir dimajlis tersebut. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan tahlil dan doa selamat yang diketuai oleh Yang Mulia Ustaz Abdussalam bin Haji Jahari.

Sungai Akar, Sabtu 07 Jun 2025 – Pasukan Sekuriti Gurkha telah mengadakan Majlis Sembahyang Sunat Hari Raya Aidiladha bagi tahun 1446 Hijrah/2025 Masihi, bertempat di Surau Perkhemahan Sungai Akar.

Jun 2025 – Pasukan Sekuriti Gurkha telah mengadakan Majlis Malam Takbir Hari Raya
Aidiladha 1446 Hijrah/2025 Masihi, bertempat di Surau Perkhemahan Sungai Akar. Majlis
dimulakan dengan menunaikan Sembahyang Fardhu Isyak berjemaah yang diimamkan
oleh 0296 SG Muhammad Nur bin Haji Abd Rashid.
GURKHA SECURITY UNIT’S OPERATIONAL RATION OPENING CEREMONY
Sungai Akar Camp, Tuesday, 27 May 2025 – Yang Mulia Director of Defence Minister’s Office and Directorate of Strategic Planning participated in ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the launch of Gurkha Security Unit’s (GSU) operational ration with the Commandant, Deputy Commandant and senior officers of the GSU. This marks a historic milestone and truly a golden year for the GSU for securing a long-awaited operational ration for the GSU duty personnel. This serves as a morale boost for our GSU personnel and ensures healthier and better food options.
GURKHA SECURITY UNIT’S OPERATIONAL KITS AND EQUIPMENT BRIEFING
Sungai Akar Camp, Tuesday, 27 May 2025 – The Gurkha Security Unit’s (GSU) Operations Officer, Maj Subar Rai conducted a detailed briefing to Yang Mulia the Director of Defence Minister’s Office and Directorate of Strategic Planning (DMO & DSP), Acting Deputy Director DMO & DSP, and Head of Project Branch and Assistance Director outlining an initiative to modernize kits and equipment to align with modern operational demands. The second phase of the briefing included visual brief of the outdated current kits and equipment of GSU intended for the upgrade.
