Sungai Akar Camp, on Thursday, 14 August 2025. The Annual Open Badminton Championship 2025/26 was successfully conducted in Kadir Hall, Sungai Akar Camp. This year’s championship commenced on 17 July 2025 and featured in two categories: Men’s Singles and Men’s Doubles (Division A and Division B) with a total of 79 participants took part in the competition.
The grand finale was graced by the Commandant, Deputy Commandant and all Officers and other ranks. In the final events: Men’s doubles Division A, GSU No. 4958 Cpl Karun Thapa and 5382 Cpl Milan Tamang emerged as winners. Men’s single Division A, GSU No. 5447 LCpl Youwa Raj Rai secured the first place.
