The K-9 Unit, GSU New Dogs Arrival Sungai Akar Camp. The GSU K-9 Unit has welcomed the arrival of new dogs at Sungai Akar Camp as part of the K-9 Unit dog procurement programme.
The dogs arrived safely and were officially received by the Gurkha Security Unit on Thursday, 25 December 2025. All dogs are in good condition and have been placed under a two-month quarantine period, after which they will undergo eight weeks of basic training.
