Sungai Akar Camp, Friday 21 – Monday 24 November 2025 – At the invitation of the Gurkha Security Unit (GSU), a Passport Mobile Service delegation from the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Nepal in Malaysia visited Brunei Darussalam from 21 to 24 November 2025. Led by Mr Prateek Raj Joshi, Second Secretary, and supported by Mrs Yasoda Adhikari and Mr Sandeep Pandey, the delegation successfully delivered passport renewals and consular services to the Nepalese community through an efficient doorstep service. A total of 116 passports were processed, benefiting GSU personnel and their families, British Forces Brunei Garrison personnel, and Nepalese nationals working in a private capacity in the country.

Prior to their departure on 24 November 2025, the delegation attended a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a courtesy lunch hosted by the Commandant GSU. The visit was highly successful, strengthening institutional cooperation and reinforcing the strong relationship between GSU and the Embassy of Nepal.
