Sungai Akar Camp, on Thursday 30 January 2025. After 7 years consecutive long halt, Inter Unit Swimming Competition 2024/25 was held on in Sungai Akar Camp. Altogether 4 x teams took part on this competition on the customized swimming events with the Inter-Mess Fun Race (Sittang Race). Note for the readers: Sittang Race is a historical legacy of improvised wet gap crossing method inherited from our forefathers. With a narrow margin points of fierce competition, the overall winner of this year’s Inter Unit Swimming Competition 2024/25 were Team from Support Unit. Along with a favorable good weather condition, the afternoon was kindly witnessed and enjoyed by the Commandant GSU, Lt Col (U) Haji Habil bin Haji Adol, PJK, psc (j) and other senior officers from GSU.
