The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Defence and other invited distinguished guests.
The event started off with the recitation of Asar Prayer at Surau Sungai Akar Camp followed by hiking brief by Captain Subar Rai at the Basketball court.
A total of 2 km hiking route was covered, finishing at the Officers Mess Sungai Akar Camp. This event will further strengthen social ties and bonding work environment between the ministries and Gurkha Reserve Unit. Jai GRU!
