Sungai Akar Camp, Saturday, 21 February 2026. The GSU Support Unit recently held an event to commemorate its achievement as 1st Runner-Up in the Commandant’s Trophy Challenge—an accomplishment that truly reflects the unit’s commitment, collective strength, and professionalism. The event was attended by all ranks of the Support Unit and was graced by the presence of the YM Comdt. This success has further strengthened team cohesion and fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among all ranks.
The occasion also served as a farewell for one of the unit’s longest-serving members, Dr Hemanta Raj Gautam, along with two other members who will soon be departing the unit. Their dedicated service and valuable contributions were acknowledged with deep appreciation, and they were extended best wishes for their future endeavors.
