Training Area B, Labi & Ulu Tutong, 16 and 27 August 2026. On Sun 16 Aug 2026, K9 Unit Instructors conducted a lesson and jungle demonstrations for personnel attending the RBLF Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Special Operation Platoon Course 2026 during “Pahlawan Ulu Exercise” at Training Area ‘B’, Labi. A final demonstration was conducted on Wed 27 Aug 2026 at Training Area ‘A’, Ulu Tutong Dam area, as part of the final exercise. The activity provided an overview of the K9 Unit’s roles, capabilities and limitations, followed by a practical tracking demonstration showcasing the employment of K9 teams in a jungle environment.
K9 team and dogs supported the activity, providing valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and interaction with RBLF counterparts. The exercise also enabled GSU K9 handlers and dogs to conduct realistic jungle training, including deployment by speedboat, further enhancing their operational capability and strengthening cooperation between the GSU K9 Unit and RBLF.
