The Gurkha Security Unit (GSU) Inter Unit Football Competition, held on 14 May 2026, concluded successfully as part of the ongoing Commandant’s Trophy Challenge to determine the Champion Unit for the year. The tournament showcased strong teamwork, sportsmanship and competitive spirit among participating units. After a series of exciting matches, Guard Unit Team A emerged as the overall champion, while K-9 Unit secured the runner-up position. Guard Unit Team B and Support Unit finished in third and fourth place respectively. YM Deputy Commandant graced the event and presented prizes and trophies to winning teams. The competition further strengthened camaraderie and esprit de corps among GSU personnel through healthy sporting activities.
