The Commandant GRU paid visits to cemeteries and conducted cleaning campaigns organised by Local Other Ranks (LORs) at several muslim cemeteries in Brunei-Muara district.
The visit commenced with a cleaning campaign followed by a recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil for the late Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the departed members of GRU.
The Gurkha Reserve Unit also
organized a cleaning campaign on burial ground and crematorium at Anduki, Kuala
Belait (KB) in order to keep the area of crematorium and Gurkha Hindu
cemeteries clean and tidy, as a part of GRU annual and in the occasion of GRU 50th
Anniversary.
