The K-9 Unit, Breeding Project, Sungai Akar Camp 2025. The Gurkha Security Unit (GSU) has recorded another significant milestone in its ongoing K-9 dog-breeding initiative at Sungai Akar Camp. On 22 October 2025, a female K-9, successfully delivered two healthy puppies. The puppies are developing well under the close supervision of the K-9 handlers and veterinary support team.
The GSU K-9 Unit will continue to expand and refine its breeding programme as part of long term efforts to enhance readiness and maintain operational excellence.
