BILATERAL COOPERATION BETWEEN ARMY CANINE CENTRE, PAKISTAN & GURKHA RESERVE UNIT
Sungai Akar Camp, on Thursday 04 April 2024. The Video Tele-Conference (VTC) between Army Canine Centre Pakistan and Gurkha Reserve Unit was held on Thursday 04 April 2024. Major Madan Kumar Gurung (Deputy Commandant of Gurkha Reserve Unit) led the team GRU and Brigadier Jamal Abdul Nasir, Director, Operation & Training (O&T), RV & F Dte led the team of Army Canine Centre (ACC), Pakistan.
LADIES COFFEE AFTERNOON PROGRAMME

ladies organised an annual coffee afternoon and welcome program to Puan Zaila Binti Haji
Zaina (wife of Commandant, GRU) in the main dining hall.
LADIES SOLIDARITY VOLLEYBALL EVENT WITH SERIA GARRISON
Tuker Lines, Seria Garrison, on Friday 14 June 2024. Gurkha Reserve Unit’s ladies participated in a solidarity volleyball competition event in Seria Garrison Gym hall. It was a solidarity event to foster a good rapport and goodwill between Gurkha Reserve Unit (GRU) and 1st Royal Gurkha Rifles and Seria Garrison’s ladies.
GURKHA RESERVE UNIT’S HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI CELEBRATION 1445H/2024M
Sungai Akar Camp, Saturday 29 June 2024 – This year again the Gurkha Reserve Unit’ organized its Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at GRU Main Cook House with a “Hari Raya Classic Theme”. This event is also celebrated with the attendance of Special Autistic Children.
INTER UNIT VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION 2024
Sungai Akar Camp, on Monday 20 May 2024. GRU Inter Unit volleyball Championship was held in Gym hall SAC. The objectives of the Volleyball Competition were to enhance volleyball skills, physical fitness, and team cohesion and also to identify best players to represent GRU team.
