Hutan Simpanan Berakas, on 27 February 2025. Gurkha Security Unit Inter Unit Orienteering Competition 2024/25 was held in Hutan Simpanan Berakas and successfully completed, and all the participant’s performed very high standard of map reading skills. The primary objectives of the competition was to test the map reading skills, fitness and determine the units standings for the Overall Champion Unit of Comdt’s Challenge Trophy for the year 2024/25.
A total of four teams participated from three different units within GSU. Support Unit, Guard Unit Team A and Team B rigorously managed to collect all the checkpoints and subsequently obtained full points. But, slight time fraction, Support Unit declared the winner. Guard Unit team A, Team B and K-9 Unit secured 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. The competition was concluded with the prize presentation by the Commandant.
