Sungai Akar Camp, Tuesday, 13 May 2025 – Three (3) retired officers from the British Army, Brigade of Gurkhas and Two (2) retired officers from Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force (GCSPF) arrived in Negara Brunei Darussalam on Monday 21 April 2025 for their selection interview.
The interview board was held in GSU conference room on Thursday 24 April 2025, chaired by Brigadier General (Retd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Permanent Secretary, MINDEF and with other five (5) board members.
Their employment in GSU graciously consented by His Majesty, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Darussalam on Monday, 12 May 2025 as a Lieutenant with effect from 24 April 2025 for 3 years contract.
