Sungai Akar Camp, Tuesday, 30 September 2025 – Dashain, the greatest and most suspicious festival in Nepal, was celebrated with great enthsiam at the GSU, Sungai Akar Camp.
A vibrant cultural programme was held on Kalarati (Black Night), the eighth day of Dashain, featuring performances by Gurkha personnel, families, and children in traditional attire. Distinguished guests and attendees were enthralled by the colorful and lively presentations.
On 02 October 2025, the main day of the Dashain festival, all GSU Gurkha personnel received Tika and blessings from seniors and elders. The celebration concluded on 07 October 2025 with joy and unity, reflecting the strong bond of brotherhood and shared heritage among all ranks and families.
