Sungai Akar Camp, Monday, 13 April 2026. The GSU Officers’ Mess marked the arrival of Nepali New Year 2083 B.S. with a vibrant and memorable celebration, bringing together officers and their families for an evening of camaraderie and festivity.
The event was graciously attended by the YM Commandant and Puan, whose presence added significance to the occasion. In his address, the Deputy Commandant delivered a heartfelt New Year message, extending his warm wishes to all personnel and their families for a happy, healthy, and prosperous year ahead.
The evening featured a lively programme filled with entertainment, reflecting the rich cultural spirit of the Nepali New Year. As the night progressed, the celebrations culminated in an enthusiastic countdown to usher in the New Year 2083 BS, symbolising renewed hope, unity, and continued commitment among all ranks.
