GURKHA SECURITY UNIT OFFICERS’S MESS CELEBRATES THE NEPALI NEW YEAR BIKRAM SAMBAT (BS) 2082
Sungai Akar Camp, Sunday, 13 April 2025 – The Officers’ Mess members hosted a vibrant celebration to mark the arrival of Nepali New Year BS 2082 in the Mess. The event brought together distinguished guests YM Commandant and Puan, Veterinary Officer (Dr), and officers with their families. The celebration began with welcoming to all mess members and the distinguished guests by Nepali Naumati Baja (traditional Nepalese musical instruments) and followed by Nepali traditional dishes, which was meticulously prepared to reflect the flavors of the homeland.

YM Commandant’s Open Houe, Friday, 11 April 2025 - In the spirit of togetherness and celebration, YM Commandant, warmly hosted a Hari Raya Open house to Surau committee members, local other ranks and thier childern at Surau in Sungai Akar camp. Such gathering serve not only as festive celebrations but also as meaningful moments to reinforce the GSU’s culture of inclusively, respect, and camaraderie.

Sungai Akar Camp, Thursday, 10 April 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, three Majors and four Captains were promoted on 03 April 2025 in GSU Officers’ Mess.

Minister at Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Defence II Open House, Sunday, 06 April 2025 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof had invited for Hari Raya Open House to YM Commandant and Puan, Senior Officers and their families at his residence.

Commandant’s Open House, Friday, 04 April 2025 – YM Commandant and Puan had invited all GSU Officers, Doctors and all Warrant Officers with their families for a special Open House at their residence in SA Camp. All the attendees had the honor of visiting the residence of the YM Comdt and Puan.

Istana Nurul Iman, Open House, Tuesday, 01 April 2025 – A total of 435 GSU personnel (Officers, Doctor and Other Ranks) led by the YM Comdt had the honor of visiting the Istana Nurul Iman for the Istana Open House on the 2nd day of Hari Raya.
